Wired-Or-less is a locally owned and operated company who have continuously worked over the past few years to improve services available to the Northern Ireland taxi industry. A team of dedicated and well trained staff ensures that their customers receive the highest possible service. The install team consists of qualified electronics engineers to electro communications and installations experts. An ongoing training and development program shows commitment to setting and maintaing a very high standard both in training and certification to a City and Guilds or NVQ level.

Part of their research and development involved a recent visit to the hale electronic taxi meter factory in Salzburg, Austria. Director Fred and senior engineer Stuart undertook an intensive two day training course on all of the Hale products inc. Microtax 06 meters and integral compact thermo printers, the infamous mirror meter, endorsed by none other than Mercedes Benz. Also Hale's elaborate and highly functional Dispatch System, which is taking the taxi world by storm. The lads were also introduced to Hale's unique Taxi meter Calibration System which allows simple, yet very accurate calibration and secure sealing of meters, something that may be of great interest to our local taxi industry in the very near future...Wired-Or-Less are certified Hale Factory Partners, they can offer access to all the above mentioned products and services.

This is only part of Wired-Or-Less' broad horizon outlook. Recently they took onboard the Taxi World International(TWI) dealership. Now boasting full TW services for their highly acclaimed swb/lwb TW200 Taxi Bus. As dealers they can offer drivers and depot owner's access to these amazing new and second hand vehicles at very competitive prices, with finance options available on request.

Then there is the Cygnus range of meters, of course well known within the Public Hire taxis. Cygnus is still at the forefront of the taxi industry. As the approved Digitax fitting centre for Irelands main importer T.Cole & Son, they provide full facilities to accommodate drivers and depot owners who require any of the very high quality and well established Digitax meters and associated hardware.

Recently Wired-or-Less became an approved AutoCab GPC fitting centre for the varied types of Auto Cab systems from their basic D21 to the latest Zeus systems. With over 10 years experience in the custom fitment of the systems vehicle owners can expect a high standard of finish.
